People are stating they're sick of snow

Do you think I should tell them to call Kim for
Forsythia sticks and teach them how to have spring

A better form of weather forecasting
* * * * *
Sunday evening....
Candy: What happened? I heard this morning we would get 1";
I just shoveled about 3-4" off the back door deck
and it's still coming down.
Elizabeth: I don't know - earlier today I put my snow boots inside.
When hubby & I left the theatre, our regular shoes got soaked!
Candy: Did you hear if we were going to get this much???
Elizabeth: No, but it seems lately we can't depend on our forecasters...
Elizabeth: I just use a rock on a string & look outside my window:
If there's snow on it, it's snowing.
If it's wet, it's raining.
If it's blowing, it's windy.
If it's dry, no precipitation
If it's bright and warm, it's sunny
Adios, Chuck Gadica.

Music
* * * * *
“Music is a total constant. That’s why we have such a strong visceral connection to it, you know? Because a song can take you back instantly to a moment, or a place, or even a person. No matter what else has changed in your or the world, that one song says the same, just like that moment.”

Connecting...
* * * * *
Anyone who is not on your same evolutionary & spiritual frequency will distance himself from you, while all those who are on the same frequencies as you, will come closer to you; you will see how amazing it is to discover that everyone who needs to be by your side will ultimately appear in your life in the most spontaneous & divine manner. That's how powerful the mind is!

One-Word Swooning
* * * * *
I should start a series called One Word Swoon.
One word and an image that causes a reaction
an emotion
a gaasp
a Swoon
I'd start with this ~

Chinese New Year ...(just a little late)
* * * * *
Year of the Rabbit from Frater on Vimeo.
"I’m not up to speed on my Chinese astrology, but from what I’ve read this year – the year of the Rabbit – is supposed to be the opposite of the last. Whereas the Lion (RE: 2010) is full of ups and downs and topsy-turviness, the Rabbit is more consistent with lots of emphasis on following the path laid out for you. I think I love you, 2011."

Good Saturday morning... let's sing ~
* * * * *
You’re the cream in my coffee,
You’re the salt in my stew;
You will always be my necessity--
I’d be lost without you.
You’re the starch in my collar,
You’re the lace in my shoe;
You will always be my necessity--
I’d be lost without you.
Most men tell love tails,
And each phrase dovetails.
You’ve heard each known way,
This way is my own way.
You’re the sail of my love boat,
You’re the captain and crew;
You will always be my necessity--
I’d be lost without you.
You give life savor,
Bring out its flavor;
So this is clear, dear,
You’re my Worcestershire, dear.
You’re the sail of my love boat,
You’re the captain and crew;
You will always be my necessity--
I’d be lost without you.
