Her name is Sequoyah.
She is wild.
Her head - her body - her beauty paralyzes me.
I guess that's the emotion elicited by these great animals
to those that feel the horse's spirit.
I would take her in a heartbeat,
but she belongs to her herd
and the wide open ranges of Wyoming.
She deserves to be protected and not
cut down by some old arbitrary number count that
the state and federal governments can no longer justify.

She and her herd hurt no one.
