At the Office ...

* * * * *

I know: What does art have to do with the office...

Well, I'll tell you:

Our staff was pretty bruised by the clients today...and
as I watched them pass by my office leaving for the evening,
they had a....um....almost disfigured appearance.

So...as I was cruising thru my favorite artists blogs tonight,
I gasped when I saw the latest sketches from Carla Sonheim:

"Wow", said I..."these look like our employees today".
This isn't how we usually START the day.
It's just how we look when we END the day.

I really hope everyone recooperates by tomorrow.

Gathering Compliments...

* * * * *

One of our clients sent us an e-mail complimenting
our extraordinary service.
She ended with the statment
'you guys totally rock'.

We were smitten..

...and now we want more!!!

So...contest on!

No A/C at the Office...

* * * * *

I do believe if the air conditioning system
isn't working at the office
again today
in the 97 degree heat...

I will truly be forced to stop and buy a kiddie pool.

Grrrrrrrr.........

* * * * *
I'm aggitated by this ongoing horrid heat.

I'm frustrated about the oil disaster in our precious Gulf.

and I'm REALLY done
with hearing what's going to happen
to another jailed spoiled rotten celeb.

Seriously.
Who gives a ratzass?

Dear media:
Can you leave her out of the nightly news and
insert something of VALUE?
And while you're at it,
delete Mel Gibson.
Thank you.

I gotta go get an ice cream cone.

Oil Disaster in the Gulf, 2010...continued

* * * * *
Since the "new cap" ...or the "re-cap" of the well
didn't work yesterday...and this is nearing 100 days of oil
dumping into the Gulf,
I had to repost.

just had to.

A baby laughing gull impacted by the oil spill is seen at the Fort Jackson Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Buras, La., on July 8.

A baby Kemp's Ridley sea turtle, an endangered species, awaits care at the Audubon Center for the Research of Endangered Species, in New Orleans, La., on July 9, after being rescued from the oil spill.

The public beach in Gulf Shores, Ala., was jammed with music lovers during the Jimmy Buffett and Friends Concert for the Coast on July 11. The free concert was meant to boost tourism to the area, which has suffered since the oil spill.

It's Too Hot for Customer Service

* * * * *

Thank God it's Friday.

We're beat up from the 100 degree heat
and have lost our patience to play
in the Customer Service Department.

Just a day or two with some snow
a shotgun
and an old IBM
would sure adjust some attitude around here.
